If MCPS opens and releases at the usual time:

1) If MCPS opens then JIT will open to receive your children off the bus.

2) If weather is fine, then JIT will continue as usual and students will be dismissed as usual (many being driven home as part of wrap around service by technicians)

3) If weather is NOT fine, then parents be ready and prepared to PICKUP your children from JIT as soon as possible. Your children will be cared for until you arrive but you must arrive ASAP. In most cases, the technicians will not drive your children home if the roads are tricky for your children's protection as well as staff protection.

If MCPS opens but has early dismissal:

1) If MCPS opens but kids come out early, JIT will mobilize to open early and receive your children off the bus

2) However, since the weather will most likely be NOT fine in this case, please come and pickup your children from JIT as soon as possible. Your children will be cared for until you arrive but you must arrive asap.In most cases, the technicians will not drive your children home if the roads are tricky for your children's protection as well as staff protection.
